Our on-going project “Social capital and migration – evidence from a post-conflict environment“ has got a new research focus on the role of ethnic diversity and is supported by the Regional Research Promotion Programme in the Western Balkans (RRPP), which is run by the University of Fribourg upon a mandate of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, SDC, Federal Department of Foreign Affairs.

The main aim of this extended dimension is to analyse how ethnic diversity affects social capital of individuals as well as their economic performance. the research will be based on qualitative and quantitative methodologies respectively, and will be implemented by researchers from BiH and Serbia.
